Chhavi Verg is Miss New Jersey USA 2017 and Miss USA 2017 First Runner-Up.
Born in India, Chhavi came to the United States with her family when she was four years old and was brought up in Edison, NJ. She graduated as an honors scholar and magna cum laude from Rutgers University, from where she has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. During her sophomore year of college, Chhavi became Miss New Jersey USA 2017 and went on to placing First Runner-Up at the Miss USA competition in May 2017.
Since then, Chhavi has become an advocate for women’s rights and a representative for South Asians in the fashion, entertainment, and creative spheres. She has been featured in music videos, on billboards, in magazines, as well as in various online publications and commercials. She lives her life by the following motto:
